Currently a Senior Advisor at USAID and an Adjunct Professor of International Human Rights at Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Formerly Director at Human Rights First, leading advocacy campaigns on democratic backsliding.
Previously served as Regional Director for the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative in Russia and Azerbaijan, overseeing legal support programs for activists and journalists. Worked on human rights and justice reforms in Ukraine, Central Asia, and Latin America.
Holds a J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law.
