Previously served as Associate Director of Broadcasting and Director of Research and Analysis at Radio Free Europe. Held diplomatic positions at the U. S. Department of State, working on U.S.-Russia relations and arms control negotiations.
Holds a Ph. D. in Government from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Columbia University.
