Dr. Andrey Medushevsky

Professor, political scientist, legal scholar

Historian, sociologist, and political scientist specializing in constitutional law, political institutions, and the sociology of law. Professor at the Higher School of Economics since 1998, where he has taught courses on sociology, legal philosophy, and comparative constitutional law. A full member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, leading the “Human in the History of Culture” branch within its Humanities Section. Since 2016, has been a member of the Expert Council on Political Science for the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia. Author of works on Russian constitutionalism and political development. Holds a Doctor of Sciences degree in Philosophy.
