Dr. Dmitry Dubrovsky

Historian, sociologist

Research fellow at Charles University and professor at the Free University of Latvia. Specializes in human rights, academic freedoms, and minority rights. Previously, an associate professor at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Founder of the human rights program at Smolny College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Taught at Bard College and Columbia University. Recipient of the Galina Starovoitova Fellowship at the Kennan Institute and the Kone Foundation Fellowship. Holds a PhD in History from St. Petersburg State University.
