Former political prisoner of Bolotanya case
A mechanical engineer specializing in multiphase flow modeling and anomaly detection in fluid dynamics. In 2015, was arrested and sentenced to 2.5 years in prison as part of the Bolotnaya Square case—one of the highest-profile political trials in modern Russia. Recognized as a political prisoner by human rights organizations, he faced harsh conditions in prison before his release in 2017. After leaving Russia, pursued graduate studies in the United States, conducting research in computational fluid dynamics and publishing academic work in engineering and applied physics.
