Roland Freudenstein

Director of Free Russia Foundation Brussels

Holds a master’s degree in political science, economics, and Japanese studies from the University of Bonn and studied international relations in Los Angeles. Worked at the German Council on Foreign Relations and the foreign policy department of the European Commission. Served as the director of the Warsaw office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and as Hamburg’s representative to the EU. Led the political department of the Wilfried Martens Centre and was Vice President of GLOBSEC. In 2024, founded the Brussels Freedom Centre.
